Change is coming to Carteret County in other forms as well; more retail, more restaurants and with this brings more job and more reason to move to the Crystal Coast! Seafood Festival is here!! Starting at noon on Friday, September 30th! The Seafood Festival will be one of the largest events hosted in this county! Tons of food, crafts, entertainment and much more! This year the festival is celebrating an anniversary-the 25th! The festival is estimated to impact the economy locally by over 32 million dollars. There will be approximately 60 or so vendors and a crowd estimated at 200,000 or more. Come join in the fun!

Come join in the fun in Emerald Isle, part of Carteret County’s Crystal Coast, this weekend for its 20th St. Patrick’s Festival! The festival’s attendance has grown to more than 20, 000 guests annually and it features corned beef and cabbage as well as other favorites such as shrimp burgers, funnel cakes, hot dogs and much more! The festival is held in the Emerald Plantation shopping center in the heart of Emerald Isle.
Vendors include clowns, carnival rides, crafts, jewelry,homemade crafts, and much more entertainment. The Shamrock stage will feature DJ Mack with karaoke and the Little Mr. and Miss Leprechaun contest.
The best part is entry is FREE!! Come join us in Carteret County and enjoy the Emerald Isle Celebration Saturday, March 12th, starting time will be 9 am!
