The location of Cannonsgate is perfect. Neatly tucked away on NC Highway 24, which winds its way south to north from the fishing village of Swansboro to the popular port of Morehead City. Situated right on the Intracoastal Waterway at one of the widest and most beautiful parts of Bogue Sound. Cannonsgate at Bogue Sound offers close proximity to the local beaches of Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach. If it’s shopping that strikes your fancy then you are a short drive to both Jacksonville to the south and Morehead City to the east.

The nearby beaches are fantastic, wide, blue and gorgeous, popular destinations in the summer for those sun and water worshippers from near and far. The best-kept secret is just how lovely the Crystal Coast is in the fall, winter and early spring. The tourists are gone, and taking a walk – or a ride – along these beaches is extraordinary.
