Down East in Carteret County, NC is the Crystal Coast’s best kept secret! Its small town living at its best!! It’s like being in the country but next to the Ocean at the same time. The people of Down East are a special breed all their own. They are friendly and helpful and just what you would expect of country folk. The people of down east are known for their home cooking. Its quit and serene with beautiful breathtaking views of the water, nature, and boats. A lot of the local people live off the land and water. They are commercial fisherman and farmers.

It is from back when ships started arriving with the earliest of settlers, some of these towns were isolated from the main land and they have managed to keep an Old English dialect. We clean the yards of debris and things that could potentially fly around and cause more damage. We have hurricane preparedness kits made up that consists of flashlight, batteries, emergency radios, candles, matches, blankets, water, and cash.
